Crypto Cards with Google Pay

Google Pay turns your Android phone into a contactless payment terminal for your crypto card. Once provisioned, you tap your phone at any NFC-enabled terminal — no physical card, no PIN for small transactions. This works at grocery stores, gas stations, transit systems, and anywhere contactless payments are accepted.

Setting up Google Pay with a crypto card is straightforward but varies by provider. XKard and KAST allow instant provisioning — you receive your virtual card details and add them to Google Wallet immediately. BingCard also supports Google Pay but may require email verification before the card appears in your wallet. SolCard provisions instantly as a virtual-only card.

Android users get one privacy advantage over physical cards: Google Pay generates a virtual account number that differs from your actual card number. Combined with a no-KYC card like XKard or SolCard, the merchant never sees your real card details, and the card issuer never sees your real name. This double layer of abstraction is stronger than swiping a physical card.
