Privacy Policy

Overview

Kardd is a directory and comparison website for crypto spend cards. We are built for a privacy-conscious audience, and our privacy practices reflect that. We collect the absolute minimum data necessary to operate this site.

What We Collect

• Affiliate click data: When you click an outbound affiliate link, we log the card name, timestamp, referring page, and approximate country (via Cloudflare headers). We do not log IP addresses.
• Newsletter subscriptions: If you subscribe, we use Resend to send a confirmation email, store your confirmed subscription and deliver newsletters. We record your consent time and confirmation status. You can unsubscribe or change your preferences through the link in each newsletter.
• Advertising enquiries: We store the company name, contact email, website, brief, selected package and campaign correspondence you submit. If you purchase a campaign, we also retain its invoice reference, amount and payment status. Enquiries and purchases do not subscribe you to marketing emails. A random checkout recovery token is stored in your browser’s session storage to avoid duplicate orders when you retry; it is not used for advertising tracking.
• Abuse prevention: Public forms use a short-lived keyed hash derived from a network address to limit repeated requests. We do not store the raw address in this rate-limit table; expired entries are removed by scheduled maintenance.
• Sponsored placements: We count recorded outbound clicks in daily campaign totals. These are not cross-site profiles or verified unique visitors.
• No tracking pixels: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
• No cookies: We do not set any cookies for tracking purposes.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Raw IP addresses in our application’s rate-limit records
• Identity documents or verification selfies
• Browser fingerprints
• Cross-site tracking data
• Wallet seed phrases or private keys

Third-Party Services

We use Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare for DNS and campaign/confirmation records, and Resend for newsletter contacts, preferences and email delivery. These providers may process technical logs as part of their services. NOWPayments hosts crypto checkout and processes payment and transaction details under its own privacy policy. We do not ask for wallet seed phrases or private keys. Please refer to each provider’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

Data Retention

We retain newsletter contact and consent records while needed to honour your subscription and preferences. Unconfirmed signup requests are removed after expiry and a short operational grace period. Unsubscribing stops newsletter delivery; a suppression record may remain to prevent accidental re-subscription. Advertising and payment records are retained as needed to fulfil campaigns, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
